I am a diabetic and tomorrow I have to go to a doctor for the baby's heart. They call him a fetal cardiologist. Has anyone ever been to one? What happens while your there? I'm 19 weeks but not sure what they need to check for.

I have been to one....They will check the baby's heart, and make sure it's develpoing correctly. They will look at the four chambers, the valves and the artery that goes to and from the heart, the placement of the heart, and tilt of the heart and alos the size. They will also run a heart doppler on the baby to make sure that it sounds good.
