Hi everyone! First a quick introduction -
my name is gail, I live in the uk and have
been diagnosed with lupus & aps for
two years. I have a history of dvt and
was only diagnosed with both disorders by
chance (lucky me). Have a great gp,
consultant & specialist, but not one
to bother them much as normally ok, thanks
to plaquenil, meloxicam, aspirin etc.
But, have been feeling especially tired
and run down of late (probably overdoing
it  ) and this past week have been
bothered with breathlessness and chest
pains (either a short stab or almost
constant dull ache over my sternum, into
my shoulders and down both arms). The
breathlessness got so bad I got an
emergency appointment with, not my normal,
gp and to cut a long story short I was
ambulanced off to hospital. I had all
the tests (chest, lung x-ray, bloods, ecg)
and they found nothing.... It persisted
for a couple of days, but does seem to
have eased, though still a little
breathless (on walking) and still the dull
chest pain. Not sure what to do now and
thought I would ask if anyone else has
experienced anything similar ?
It obviously isn't anything nasty, but I
do have that "what if its" going on in my
head and though the docs can't come up
with anything, someone 'closer' to lupus
may have a clue!!
Your opinions will be gratefully received
bye for now!
