Q: Mammogram During Pregnancy???

My doctor scheduled a mammogram for me because of a lump I had found in my breast. She was not alarmed by it, but because I was and I thought it was different, she made the appt. For the mammogram. The appointment is next week. But in the meantime, I found out I am five weeks pregnant. Do you know if it is ok for me to have a mammogram while I am pregnant?

I am not sure, I would go ahead and give the doctor a phone call and let her know that you are expecting! Congratulations!!

Thank You!
Thank you so much for your thoughts and advice. I really appreciate it. Good point about finding the lump because I was pregnant. I hadn't thought of that. I was planning on calling tomorrow - so we'll see what they say. Thanks again!
