Recently Developed Ed, And Am In Between Hmos Posted: 03-30-06 22:26pm
Hi
i am 30 years old and over the course of
the last year or so my erections have been
loosing some hardness. Not much however
until about a week ago. About a week ago
I developed several symptoms all at the
same time – the extent of these other
symptoms however is rather mild (all
totally livable, except the ed):
ed
diarrhea
abdominal pain and soreness
some twinging/tingling/itching along the
left side just below the head as well
along the length, and some in my legs
(especially the left leg).
Aching pain around the base on left (same
feeling as else where)
swelling around base
allergies (nasal and sinus swelling).
Insomnia (which I have always had but it
just got much worse).
For years have also noticed that I have a
some what hard fleshy lump just below the
head, embedded in the center of the shaft
– it feels sort of like a fatty tumor,
but its not very apparent, nor is it that
large (a bit larger, or about the same
size of a shellless peanut -- may simply
be part of the normal structure)
it’s odd that all these things (except
for the last one) occurred at once and it
has me quite worried.
This also coincides with me going through
the process of changing health care
providers, and as such I am between
doctors (these health care issues should
be resolve in the next month or so).
There is a history of diabetes in my
family, however my blood sugar is in the
range of 85 to 105 and so it seems
unlikely that it is the cause – though
these symptoms do sound indicative of
neuropathology.
My cholesterol hasn’t been checked for
about a 6 month to a year, but last time
it was checked it was in the high range of
normal (about 196 – is there a specific
type of cholesterol I should be looking
for in my test results?)
i can get an erection but it is very weak
and difficult to maintain.
Even my morning erections have been this
way (when they have been present at all
– the rate of them has severally
dropped).
Ease of ejaculation remains the same.
I do on occasion have difficulty starting
urination, as well as some odd sensations
when urinating, but I have had these
issues for many many years.
I am on:
25 milligrams of zoloft (very little, and
I have been on much more than this before
with none of these side effects)
an extremely low dose of armor thyroid
(this may mean my thyroid condition has
worsened)
200 milligrams of wellbutrin
i use rogaine to prevent thinning hair, I
also use a solution that brings extra
blood to the scalp (this solution has
caused the veins in my face to enlarge,
and when I take a shower I get red streaks
down my forehead and cheeks as a result).
I have used both these solutions however
for many years.
I know this is quite a lot of information
that could point to quite a lot of causes,
but I was wondering if any of this rang
any bells for any one.
This is not a condition I am prepared to
live with at the moment and I really would
like to get it taken care of.
Thank you very much for any assistance or
advice you can offer me!
