I am replying to the sex drive problems
after hysterectomies. I just had a
hysterectomy on the 10th of march 2006,
and I have found my sex drive is still in
tact, even more so now, I don't have to
worry about getting pregnant again or
having my periods, I took a very negative
situation and turned it into a positive
experience. Plus, it helps when you love
the one you are with and sexually
attracted to them. I was worried about
not being a woman anymore, and my
boyfriend assured me I was as much a woman
as I ever was, and I told him I couldnt
give him a baby now, and he said he has 4
young kids, and I have 3 almost grown
kids( 18, and 17 and a foster daughter,17)
my oldest daughter was born in may 1984,
when I was 16. He has more than enough
kids to love and take care of and be a dad
to. The emotional support, I believe is
what helps with your sex drive, after all
they are connected to your emotions.
Take it easy, and just have fun with your
sex drive, explore, experiment, find
something you will enjoy the most.
