I have been having this cramping sensation to the left of my belly button for about the last 2 weeks. I am now in my sixth week. It isnt too painful but more uncomfortable than anyhting. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the cramps in a similar spot as mine. It would really comfort me if I could have some replies asap.
Thanks everybody and good luck!

Cramping!
It's probably your uterus growing. I remember feeling weird twinges. Plus your all about your tummy, so anything weird is going to startle you. Get that book, what to expect when expecting. It was my bible! I even felt the first kick at 11 weeks. Isn't that cool! You'll be alright. Just relax, try and not stress over little things, because you will feel different, trust me.

Good luck,

Hi, you know just last saturday I went in to the er cause I was having cramps too, they told me that I have a bladder infection and that as long as it didnt involve bleeding or painful to the point that I couldnt move I should be ok, I think you should go to the doctor if it is a concern to you, maybe it could be the same thing and that is easily cured! I hope I helped in any way bye bye I hope you feel better soon!!

cramping
I had a similar situation and I went to the er and found out that it was due to me being constipated. So that could be a factor as well. The prenatal pills are full of iron and caused me to be constipated for almost 5 days and that brought on the cramping. If this is so, then go out and purchase some metamusil or either colate. You can also eat foods with more fiber but ensure to increase your fluid intake.

I had cramps in the EXACT SAME SPOT as you! Don't worry. There are tons of crazy things going on inside you right now. Your uterus is growing, which causes a lot of cramping.

Because of the changes in your uterus and in your hormone levels, and because of any change in your diet and prenatal vitamins, your digestive system simply isn't working as efficiently as it used to. As such, expect a lot of cramping, bloating and some pain from gas pressure and constipation.

Don't panic unless you start bleeding. If, however, the pain becomes very, very severe, call your doctor or go to the hospital. Better to be safe than sorry; but don't stress. It sounds like you're going through all the normal woes. Smile
