Infertility Due to Partial Hysterectomy
Posted: 04-01-06 10:15am

I was 26 yrs old when I had to have a partial hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis and my uterus rupturing when my last child was born. I am now a 34 yr old divorced mother of 3 great kids. However, I have entered into a relationship with a man who doesn't have children and would one day like to have one of his own.
My question is this: I still have one of my ovaries, can the eggs from that ovary be used with his sperm to produce a healthy baby using a surrogate?
I would appreciate all serious replies.

Yes!!! As long as you have eggs in that ovary you can harvest your mature eggs and then mix with dh sperm and implant in another woman.

Best wishes having another baby.

You will have as many eggs left as you have left. When you are born the number of eggs your going to have are already there waiting for "the change" to happen.
