I have to admitt that when I meet people
over the internet I tend to lie about
everything because I am messed up in the
head and I have no social life. I never
mean for it to be harmful. I start out
with normal chat and then I realise I have
nothing to say. No hobbies or friends.
So I invent everything, all I really
wanted out of it was the feeling of being
excepted and on the same level as who ever
I was talking to.
I did this with someone and instead of a
once off chat it turned into more. I kept
my lies up. This has gone on for about a
year. I talk to this person everyday.
Hours at a time about the fantasy life and
person I wish I was. They have told me
they love me. It feels so good to hear
them say that.
I must be sick, I really do not do it to
hurt them. I have never had anyone love
me and I know I never will. I cling to my
online love and it is all that gets me
through the day. I have tried to stop
doing it but I can't.
If you were in love with someone over the
internet and had no idea they were
lying.Would you rather have them tell you
the truth causing you to lose all trust in
people. Or have them dissapear, never to
know that you had fallen for a faker.
It pains me to think about upsetting this
person as I am very much in love. I have
thought about it and there is just no easy
way out. I think if I give them a reason
to hate me such as cheating it will be
better on them.
I know everyone will hate me, I can not
tell you how sorry I am.

I don't know man, are you lying now? Some
people live off pity cause that's the only
reaction they think they can get.
When I get slightly curious about people,
I check the previous posts and see if what
they say jives......Apparently in one post
your 5'2 and in another your 6'1; in
addition your weight changed from 155 to
250 in a short period of time.
Admittedly, outrageous posts seem to get
more responses....But your really
defeating the purpose, aren't you? Don't
you want people to like and relate to the
true you? :)
