Normal Vagina After Kids? Posted: 04-03-06 12:47pm
After having 2 kids my vagina has an odor.
I would like to get rid of it for good.
It is strongest after my period and has
minimal leaking, which is clear. I
started using noroforms, but I feel like I
should not need this. Is there a more
serious problems or am I just not aware of
what a large majority of women really go
through?

Yeah I have the same problem...After my
period I always have this akward smell
...Its stinks so much to where I dont want
to have sex or even be touched...I never
had this problem until after my son was
born..I wish I could also figure out the
reason to this..I douche and yet that
doesnt work.

Sounds like you could have vaginitis or a
bacterial infection. You may want to get
to your Dr. So he/she could have a look
at it. It's common to have a hint of
odor (especially before/during/after your
period), but when it's smelling bad enough
to bother you, i'm not sure that's normal.
Also, keeping your pubic hair trimmed
will help. I don't think douching is as
popular as it use to be. It forces good
bacteria out of the vagina which could
result in bad bacteria growing which could
cause yeast infections, uti's and so on.
