13 Weeks But I Don't Feel Pregnant Posted: 04-03-06 17:57pm
I have a question for all you moms.....I'm
13 weeks and pregnant with my second
child. I've heard the baby's heartbeat
and seen it on a ultrasound.....But I
still don't "feel" pregnant. Is that
normal. I want so much to start showing
and "feel" pregnant. Also is it normal to
not feel as excited with the second. I
was so excited with my first and now I
don't have any desire to go baby shopping
etc....Although I do want this baby and it
was a planned pregnancy. Maybe it's
because i'm so paranoid that something
will happen to this baby and i'll lose it?
I don't know...Any advice!?

Aww well congrats on your pregnancy..But
yes I know where you are coming from with
the whole thing about not feeling
pregnant..Throught my first 20 weeks I
wanted sooo bad for my belly to get bigger
but then when it got huge I wanted it to
go away..Because I could hardly move or do
anything...But as for not having the
desire and excitement...Im not sure
because i've only had one...And I loved
the whole shopping thing and getting his
room ready ...

me being pregnant never sunk in until I
got uncomfortably big. I didn't have
morning sickness, but I was nausious...
After about 3 months, I felt fine!! Not
pregnant, that's for sure. But then I
started feeling her move and it reassured
me everyday that I was pregnant.
This is my first and I don't have that
desire to go shopping and get all giddy
about clothes. But I am excited about her
pink little baby room and her pink little
bed! Anyways...I've heard that many
women, after their 1st child, don't think
they'll love the 2nd baby as much, or
won't be as excited...So what you're going
through is totally normal!!
How old is your 1st baby? Is he/she
excited to have a new brother or
sister??
