How many ounces or pounds can an
ultrasound be off during the last 4 weeks
of pregnancy?

Lbs & Oz...... Posted: 04-07-06 13:27pm
This is just going off what I was told the
other day but they can very a lbs up or
down. I get an u/s once a week and a
fetal weight every other week and I have
been sick and was worried about baby not
gaining.....Well she didn't seem to have
gained much. And the u/s tech said not
to worry that it could be as much as a
lbs/week off up or down. I was 35 weeks
at the time and worried because she only
shows to weight 5lbs 2oz. When normally
she has been gaining about a lbs a month
here latley. Now i'm at 36weeks/5 days
and will get another u/s next week to see
her weight. How far along are you?
What are they showing your baby's weight
to be at?
Hope this helped!
Good luck
la donna!!

I am due april 17th. I think they have my
dates wrong though. I was 1st due april
10th. My baby was 5.5lbs at 35 weeks.
They say my baby is small for gestational
age. I asked them to give me a length on
the baby and the us tech said that he
couldent because its hard due to baby
being all balled up. Have they given you
a length? At my ;ast doctors appt on
april 3rd the tech said baby weighs around
6lbs. I had a son 12 years ago and he
only weighed 6lbs 10oz at 39.5 weeks. I
guess I just have little babies. Good
luck to you!
