Girls I need major advice. Ok im ttc for
about a year now and no luck. All my
friends have kids. Some working on #2.
Well im allergic to birth control and some
condoms so sex has always be played safe
(as possible) well now that I want to be a
mommy I can't. All my friends seem to
just be touched by the fertile fairy and
poof out comes a kid. I know this forum
is usually teens already preggy but please
give me advice. Should I not take it so
seriously or what? Im so depressed it
kills me to see my friends with baby
belly's and their youngins running
around.....

Have you seen a doctor? How old are you?
Sometimes age has to do with it and
genetics as well. Have you had your
hubbys sperm count checked too?

Well I don't know how long you've been ttc
for but it takes the average couple
between 6-12 months to conceive. Some
people make it look easy when they get
pregnant right off the bat, or seem to. A
lot of times they were having unprotected
sex for a while though....And they just
forget how long. It took about 4 months
for me to conceive my son.
Don't give up yet. Sometimes it just
takes a while. But it's worth the wait.

Yea i've been to a doctor. (3 different
ones) all the same conclusion im fine and
everything lookd good. I have another
appt. Next month. Oh and im 19. He's
21. And no he hasn't been checked for his
sperm. But the thing that scares me is my
ex never got my preggers. I've only been
with 3 peeps and have never ttc till now.
But the fact that im allergic to b/c has
me wondering ya know....

It may very well be all of the stress that
you are experiencing that is causing the
hold up. The stress must also be making
this seem like it is dragging on
fooooooreeeeeeever! God only knows how
badly stress screws with our cycles.
Are you charting? Temping? How long have
you been trying?
Anyway, the best advice I can offer is
relax. Maybe even go out, get drunk, have
sex at your parents house... Or not. But
it worked for me!
Good luck, i'm sending all kinds of big
fat positive thoughts your way. It will
happen eventually. Cherish your childfree
time and rabid interuption-free sex life
while you have it. Soon enough you will
have your little one in your way!

i understand completely and you know what
the sad thing is...... My sister has had
4 abortions. My parent's don't believe in
them but she's my step-sister so we had no
say so. It just kills me hearing girls
say "oh, we didn't even try", or "omg im
preggy I want to kill myself". When im
sitting here begging, pleading, and doing
anything in my power to conceive a
child.
My soon to be hubby will do little things
to make me feel better like after the
storm I lost everything so he bought me a
puppy to keep my mind off of things. So
for my birthday he knew how I was down
because we are still ttc so I got another
puppy. He call's them our kids. He
spoils them like real kids. I know
everytime im down I can't get a
puppy...Lol but at least he feels my pain.
Sorry I got a little off hand with this
post but you girls understand......

Apparently stressing out about getting
pregnant can stop you conceiving. Try and
forget about it is what all the sites say,
have a great time and it may happen.
Dunno if that's myth but I know of a few
cases where people have been ttc for ages
and then they stop trying and get
pregnant.
