In the third week/row of pills, I missed
one and began spotting. However, my
spotting was extremely heavy. Could it be
possible I had my period? I am now in the
last row with the placebos you take when
you're on your period, but I have not
started my period yet. I was wondering if
maybe I could've had my period last week,
so this week is the beginning of a new
cycle. If so, I had unprotected sex, is
it possible to get pregnant? Thank you so
much.

Did you take your missed pill as soon as
you remembered? If so, you are still
protected from pregnancy (unless you are
taking the mini-pill, because taking that
one late can decrease the effectiveness by
a lot). A lot of women end up spotting or
having their period early if they take a
pill late. It's just your body reacting
to not receiving the hormones right away.
