Hi everyone I am a mom of 5 month of baby
daughter, I would like to find out when
did your baby has a good neck control.
The reason I asked is because my baby girl
is 5 months and one week old she doesnt
have a very good neck conrtol yet! I
heard other moms said that their baby
didnt have a good neck control in the end
of 5 months or they just recently have a
good neck control at 6 months...Some start
as early as 4 months...I am just worried
please let me know when your baby start
having a good neck control??? Thanks

So many viewers, no responses. Babies
mature at different times; some crawl,
some don't, some can talk at 2, some
can't. I wouldn't be too concerned.
Take her to the doctor during her regular
check up if you are; sometimes there may
be a reson for concern. Are you giving
her time on her tummy and back to discover
things on her own? I have a habit of
always carrying her but am trying to limit
that time now as i've learned they learn
quicker on their own. My daughter has
always had a strong neck. When she was
born she lifted her head off my chest and
looked straight into my eyes! However,
at three months now, she can't roll from
her tummy to her back by herself. I'm
not too worried. I found that she loves
watching tv and during her tummy time
she'll try to lift her head to see the
television. This may not be the best
thing for her, but it works for me right
now! Good luck to you.

My son lifted his head when I first held
him, too, and kept doing it ever since.
He had good neck control at that age, but
I would worry about it. He was late at
crawling and walking, and still doesn't
know who "momma" is. He just walks
around the house saying it while walking
right past me.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. I
would try hold him upright and playing
games with him to get him to learn to hold
it up better.
