I am taking chasteberry right now. I
have been on it for about two months. I
am taking it to try to regulate my cycles
after coming off of birth control. Do
you know when you ovulate? How long are
your cycles? If you can pinpoint your
ovulation date, you will be more
successful with your ttc efforts. Most
sperm only live on average 2-3 days and
only in fertile cervical mucus.

What really helped me I think was taking
my temperatures because I had an ovulation
dip and then it rose a lot right
afterwards. So I knew I ovulated and what
day. It worked too!!! I am 5 weeks now!

I don't think you've given it enough time.
Getting pregnant is not as easy as just
having sex a few times a week. It took me
8 months the first time and 4 months this
time. Your doctor won't even consider you
as having fertility problems until you've
been trying unsuccessfully for a year.
You just have to be patient and keep
trying.

Melissa - when you chart your temp, you
may be able to see a dip in your basel
body temp and then a rise about your
coverline temp. Your temp should stay
high until either af comes or you confirm
pregnancy.

The whole thing with charting your temps
is that you are supposed to do it for a
few months to see how your cycle works.
So you can see a pattern. Mine was just
really easy to read. It was lower at the
beginning and then I had an ovulation dip
which lasted 3 days, and I guess the day
before it rises is the day you ovulated.
Then it shot up and stayed up. In mine I
even had an "implantation dip" which I
don't really know if it is real because I
have read it is and it is not. But about
9 days after ovulation it dipped and I am
pregnant!!! I was lucky enough to only
have to chart one month though.

Not everyone is the same but sometimes,
after you ovualte you may see a dip in
temp anywhere from 7-9 days after you
ovulate. This is called an implantation
dip. Your temp should usually rise again
after that dip and continue to stay higher
if you are pregnant. If you are not
pregnant you temp with drop back below
your coverline temp and af will come. If
you go to the fertilityfriend.Com website
you can look at other peoples charts in
the chart gallery. That may help you get
more of an idea of what you are looking
for.
