Can I Still Be Pregnant With a Period? Posted: 01-05-04 16:23pm
Hi!
This is my first time posting on this
board and I have a question. I'm on bc
pills and I had unprotected sex about 5
weeks ago. Well, about a week after, I
started getting really bad cramps (which
is weird because it was about a week and a
half before my period and I usually don't
get them that early.) also I just had
this weird sort of feeling in my stomach
that I can't explain. Then, I stared
feeling nauseous and sick for a few days.
I got my period on time and it was
normal. But after it's over I still have
this weird feeling in my lower abdomen.
It feels like on and off cramps sort of.
Also, I am sleeping a lot longer than I
usually do and I am always tired. And my
bbs look bigger and firmer. I was
wondering if I could be pregnant? And
how likely would that be since I am on bc
and I had my period?

Sure you can get pregnant, ist sounds like
you are but hey don't listen to me ....
just take a test, I mean you did get your
period... (my cousin had her period until
she was 5 months pregnant) hope next time
you have safe sex

think I am going to go buy a test today at
the store. The thing is, i'm a little
nervous since I am only 18. I have
another question: if I am really 5 weeks
pg, how much should I be showing? I see
a little difference in my stomach and also
my jeans are tighter. Is that just in my
head?

More than likely you wouldn't be showing
at all at five weeks. It would be
possible for your jeans to fit tighter.
More likely than not you are not pregnant.
But since you're having pregnancy
symptoms, it wouldn't hurt to take a test.

I had a period even aftr I got prego..Im
new to the forum btw people..Um im 16,
pregnant(totally not planned) I was
recently forced to quit cheerleading.. I
guess I was doin what everyone was doin,
yet I just got caught..Ya ..Caught. Well
I put my faith in jesus, and I pray every
day for this lil baby...
I am scared..Go figure.
