Does Anyone Else Find This Odd? Posted: 04-06-06 20:50pm
Hi...I went to my ob gyn tonight to follow
up on a condition that I have. I need to
see him every 6 mths just to monitor. So
I am 14 weeks pregnant and I haven't seen
him yet with this pregnancy. ( I did with
my last one though) anyways, I thought the
secretary had wrote on my chart that I was
pregnant because I told her before I went
in to see him. So he asked when my last
period was and I said jan 1, I assumed
that he didn't ask why I haven't had a
period in four mths, because he knew.
Then when he did the internal and push on
my abs he said everything felt fine. Just
before I left I told him I was 14 weeks
and he was very surprised because he
didn't know. Question? Wouldn't he have
been able to feel my uterus when he pushed
on my abdominal area. I'm not a big girl
or anything. I had a ultrasound last week
so I know i'm still pregant, but
shouldn't the ob have noticed?

Wow! Sounds to me like you should be
checking into some new doctors! I can't
believe secretary didn't note that on your
chart. This doesn't seem normal at all to
me. :shock:

err very weird..Seriously wouldnt go back
to that doctors office ..They dont seem to
pay attention to well..His secretary needs
to do her job !!!!
