For a long time i've been known to have
"colds" very often, but someone
enlightened me on the idea that it might
be allergies. I always have a stuffy
nose, though some days its worse than
others, and I sneeze a lot. And
sometimes i'll have itchy eyes. Since I
have these pretty much all year, I didn't
think they could be allergies, since I was
under the impression allergies were only
around spring?? Also I get alot of
headaches several times a week.
Another symptom I have is I get a bad
cough whenever I run or exert myself and I
get a cough whenever I laugh or cry hard.
What can cause this? I considered asthma
but i've never had an "attack", only
coughing.
Please help
thank you

I Think I Have Developed An Allergy? Posted: 06-01-06 10:33am
Last week my 3 year old had strep. Mid
week I had to take in my mother's cat
while she is recuperating from a fall.
On saturday I started feeling bad,
listless, post nasal drip, and a slightly
itchy throat. I thought maybe I caught a
cold from my daughter, who was still
coughing. But now it is thursday of the
following week and my eyes are itchy, nose
is running , and I have a little cough;
all this in addition to what I started
with on saturday. I did and do not have a
fever. I have two cats and I think taking
in my mother's cat, who is a long hair,
has triggered an allergy. Is it
possible??? I am 37 and have never been
allergic to any animal. I am only
allergic to dairy products and latex( on
bandaids and medical tape). Oh, almost
forgot, my back is also itching like
crazy. Can anyone confirm this is an
allergy and suggest a good allergy
medication, which is over the counter?
