Is It Me Or Is Everyone Else Pregnant? Posted: 04-08-06 13:46pm
I know this all probably sounds a little
pathetic but really needed to vent!!
Why is it when you want a baby everyone
around you seems to fall pregnant by
'mistake!' take my fiance's dad for
example (my childrens grandad!) he got
married in august 2004, but started seeing
his 'old friend' behind her back around
christmas time. He has now found out
his 'bit on the side' is pregnant so he's
left his wife to be with her!. Their
baby is due in august. If that wasnt
enough I have this beautiful cradle that
was given to us for our 2nd child, we have
got rid of alot of our baby things through
lack of space but I made sure we kept this
because I love it and cant wait till the
time I can set it up for our next baby.
Anyways for some reason my father-in-law
thinks we should donate it to him for his
new child and doesnt seem to be listening
when we say no. I just dont get it!
I feel like I have got to get pregnant
real quick just so he doesnt take it!!
To top things off my mum phoned to tell me
my cousin who had a baby last august got
rushed into hospital the other day for a
suspected appendicitis (which wasnt the
case) while she was there they found out
she was 6 weeks pregnant! Mum said they
are in shock.
Pathetic I know, but its sooo annoying!

When it is your time, you will become
pregnant . You do not have to give
your things away unless you want to or
even lon them out and I understand
especially if they are sentimental and do
not worry about what people say or think
or even feel towards you. Don't get
annoyed, your time will come!
You are not alone!
The best to you! Baby dust to you!

Keep the cradle. It is yours and
obviously means something to you. I know
it is hard when everyone else is pregnant.
It will happen for all of us one day.
We unfortunately don't have a say as to
when.

Not Just You Posted: 04-10-06 15:57pm
It isn't just you. I think we do notice
it more when we are ttc and others are
pregnant or get pregnant. However, in
the past few months since we have been
trying: one of my best friends had twins,
my older sister is expecting, my
sister-in-law is expecting a boy, two of
my cousins are expecting, two gals at work
are expecting, two of my husband's
friend's wives are expecting. I could
keep going for a while. I think that
when you get to the age when you want to
start or extend your family, most of your
friends and people you know are in that
same age bracket. Besides, it was winter
and there wasn't anything else to do on
cold winter nights but ttc. Hee hee.
