Havent Felt Move Yet
Posted: 04-08-06 21:57pm

Hey guys.. Well im pregnant with twins at the moment.. And I am 16 weeks pretty much 17 tommorow.. Well I had an ultrasound bout a week ago and they told me that one the twins heartbeat is very slow... And there could be a chance I may loose one...The other bubby is fine tho which is a relief but still I am really worried as loosing the other baby...

I have only felt one move.. But I suppose I could never know which one is moving or not.. But it only like a little movement.. Like fluttering but thats pretty much it.. No kicks...

Im freaking out .. I dont want to loose this baby... (i dont think anyone would) but like.. I have another appointment in a week as the lady was really concerned... And I noticed also the other day I had a little bit of spotting and I rang the doctor and she told me.. That not to worry and just to see what happens... Is this doctor rong not asking me to come and see whats rong? She just sounded a lil weird to me...Knowing I have a slow heartbeat with one of the babies and not checking?

As far along as you are, they couldn't do anything to save the baby. I don't mean to be blunt, but if you do lose a twin, your body will absorb it usually if it's before 18 to 20 weeks.

I know this because I lost a twin. The other baby was just fine. I did have some bleeding around the time the twin died.

You're right, you wouldn't know which baby is kicking.

I hope not, too. It is painful (emotionally, mostly, but sometimes physically, too), but you can get through it. I hope you don't have to and both babies are fine.
