Q: My Baby!!

So wednesday I went for my level 2 ultrasound. It was soo long since i'd have an ultrasound done that I was so incredibly excited.

I wanted to find out the sex of my baby when my boyfriend and I went, so of course, I had heard that if you have sugar beforehand - it would make it easier to tell the sex of the baby. About a whole pack of starburst later, we finally got to go into the exam room. Well, a word of advice *don't eat a whole pack of starbursts before having an ultrasound*

my gosh. My little peanut would not stay still. But we did eventually find out the sex. It's a little boy!! I'm so excited. Everything was healthy and growing properly and in great working condition. I know my boyfriend was disappointed in not having a little girl but i'm sure he'll love our son just as much, if not more, if it had been a little girl.

I just wanted to update you ladies to let you know all is well.

Yay!!!!! That's great, hun! I just found out i'm having a boy, too, but my bf is thrilled to death... He wanted a boy.

I know your guy will not be able to resist loving the little man just as much. Hehe.

I didn't have to "too much sugar" problem; I had the "not enough water" problem cause nobody told me to drink a lot before the u/s. :p

Congrats on the baby boy skoot. Yay!!

I know what you mean about the too much sugar. I was having an ultrasound done and I had a cup of coffee before I went and she wouldn't sit still. We have been checking her heart for defects because of my first baby and his defect. So she stayed still for like 10 mins of the u/s but then she woulnt stop moving and it made it very hard for the tech to get the rest of the readings. It was soo funny. She is a doll and I can't wait for her to be here. Awww......

Again congrats.

Aren't they just the cutest things when they wiggle and jerk around like that in there? When I went for my 20 wk u/s, the tech was trying to take a pic of his face for me. No lie, he kept flinging his arm in front of his face when the tech went to take the pictures! It was so funny! It was like he was saying, no! I don't want my picture taken! She did finally get a good shot, though.

Congrats sarah! I know we are due on the same day so I check your posts to see how you are doing. We had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and found out we are having a girl. Yay! I am glad all is well for you!
