When I had my daughter ireland I got a third degree tear into my sphincter muscles...And my question is, has anyone ever had this and when taking a bm pulled a few stitches???? I know this is tmi but everytime I go to the washroom it is incredibly painful and there is blood and it feels like I am pulling the stitches, and I can't think of any other possibility of what is happening. I plan on seeing my doctor about this asap, but I am very worried.

I had a small tear and I pulled them after having cam and omg did it ever doing it hurt, I called my nurse and she told me not to worry but to eat lots of fibre cause straining pull your stitches!!! Eat fibre straight for a day and if that doesnt help see the dr

cereal usually has lots of fibre
salad
whole grain bread, pita etc
stay away from rice, bananas, raisins or anything high in iron it will only make things worse!!!
