Well hello all! I am 20 years old and
just found out that I am pregnant. I am
so excited and also get my first
ultrasound on the 27th. At the same time
I am so scared. I am always known to
worry a lil too much but anyway I have
always been involved with babies and older
children I have 2 nephews who I
practically helped my sister raise lol and
before I knew I was pregnant I drank like
a lil too much during the holidays in
which I never do but whatever I am so
scared I would never do anything like this
intentionally to hurt my baby. I have
just way toooo much love. My point is
that I am probably about 5-6 weeks and I
know the 1st trimester is the most
important stage for development and I have
no drug problems or anything like that and
I always am in check with my health as
well already on prenatal vit but cant help
but thinking I really did something wrong
to my baby. Any advice or reassurance
would greatly be appreciated. Thank you ~
erica.

You should tell your doc but also
remember, do not drink anymore. One
question: did u know you were pregnant
when you drank? Or did you not know?

Well thankx for the advice. As for
whoever it was that asked if I knew I was
pregnant when I drank, you should have
acutually read what I posted it states it
all in there. I am not going to be too
worried though. I take good care of
myself and i'm just crossin my fingers
hoping that it didn't do anything to the
baby. I think it is sad how sometimes you
have these women who smoke thorughout
their whole pregnancy and drink and do
whatever the hell their poison is and what
do ya know the baby turns out fine. I
really dont think god would punish me for
doing something wrong when I wasn't aware
that I was doing any wrong. Anyhow thank
you all so much ! :d ~ erica

Oh im sorry, im half blind. I miss things
when I read it. Oops! I think you should
be fine, but I have seen mothers drink and
smoke throughout the pregnancy and it does
affect the baby. You might not see it,
but I know 3 kids, that are slow and it
affected them later on, if not right away.
But good luck in your pregnancy.
