Well .Sunday I had my baby shower. I was soo overwhelmed. I didn't know where to sit. I didn't want to ignore any certain group of people. I had my friends and family there and wanted to talk to all of them, but it's impossible!! When it came time to eat I just sat by myself because I didn't want to look like I was choosing one group over another. People would just come up and sit by me for a minute and then someone else would come up.

I got waay more than I thought I would. For only having about 25 people there, I stacked up. The only thing I didn't get much of, was diapers. I think I got like 3 packs of newborn and 1 pack of size 1's...So I know what I gotta start buying. I hope it's a girl, cuz I got a caca load of pink stuff!

Well, I went to the .Dr yesterday(.Monday) and he told me that i'm about 25% effaced and would soon start to dialate. He told me i'm definately not gonna make it to my due date. (which is the 1st week of .May) I think like the 3rd or 4th...Not to sure. He told me 2 weeks tops. That explains all the intense pressure i've been feeling.
He did the .Beta .Strep test and that wasn't nice. (i got violated by a q-tip!) the cervical check wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I thought it was gonna hurt because my cervix would be swollen, but it ust felt like a lot of pressure.

Sorry this is so long, it's been a while!!

Hahha violated by a q-tip....

I did the same thing at my showers (i had 2) I just didn't want to favor one person more than another. And some people I didn't even know but had to thank them (my bf's family) I highly doubt you'll be using 3 packs of newborn diapers, so see if you can switch them at walmart or something for size 1's or 2's. I thought you knew the sex? My scattered brain had me think ing you were having a girl????? Lol

2 weeks!!!! Craaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzyyyyyyyy. Get as much rest now as you can. Hibernate!!! Lol

Baby Sex Problems...

At my 1st ultrasound, my .Dr told us it was a boy. Said he was pretty positive, but not to write it in stone. I had a gut feeling it was a girl so I scheduled another ultrasound and he was positive it was a girl.
I told him that just a month prior he had said a boy and now it's a girl? So he double checked and said 'oh yea, i'll quit if it's not a girl.' sooo....He's saying a girl. But he told us he doesn't paint rooms and he can't put babies back in, he just takes them out!
I have another ultrasound coming up in 2 weeks, I think, hopefully I can make it that far to find out .F.O.R. S.U.R.E if it's a girl!
We painted the room pink and put sparkles on the ceiling!!!

Sooo....That's why I hope to .God it's a girl!!! Lol...I want a girl because i've had this feeling the whole time that it is a girl. But, I have the worst luck in new orleans and watch it turn out to be a boy!!!

Nobody gave me receipts either...So it's gonna be hard as hell to swap items out for blue ones!!

yaay!! That's good to hear!! I really hope I can make it to my next ultrasound. It's not this week coming, but the next. Maybe i'll be a couple of centimeters dialated and he'll do it next time!! I can't wait to see her again!!!

i am glad that everything went well. At least you may not have to wait until your due date to have her. I am still 17 weeks off. I have got so long to go before I get to see my little skoot.

Lol...It flew by for me. Maybe it was because we were having her room done and I was planning the baby shower and things likle that. I had my mind iccupied for about a month, so that's prob. Why. It just seemed that everytime I blinked it was .Friday and it marked another week.

I never though yesterday that I was gonna be told I have 2 weeks left!! That's when I began to panic!! Like ohhh nooo...That's only 14 days!! That sounds waaaay sooner than 2 weeks. Maybe i'll stay dialated for a couple of weeks so she can get chunky. The main reason why I don't want to have her so soon is because I don't want her to be small. By the look of me, she's def. Not gonna be small, but I don't want a weight under 7 1/2. And that's kinda small in my mind. I'll love her if she's 5 lbs. Though...I'll just keep my boob in her mouth!!

Ahhh 2 weeks!!! My next drs appointment is on thursday and I will be 38 weeks and only have 2 weeks to go.. I hope I find out if im dialted any or effaced lol.. I have this baby timer thing that tells me how many days are left and when I seen it said 18 days left I was like wow... Its coming soon! And I still feel sooo not ready!
Ya at my baby shower wen I showed up I didnt know wat to do! I said hi to everyone and then sat with the ppl I hadnt seen in the longest time lol nd I felt awkward opening gifts from ppl I didnt kno lol

I pretty much knew everyone and had seen them recently, it was just overwhelming!! I didn't want to choose favorites!! Lol...Everyone was like why are you sitting alone??

Neeko...I know it's crazy!! When I went to the .Dr I was expecting him to say I was dialated, but for me to be almost halfway effaced, I was happy. I've been having soooo much pelvic/pubic pressure it's crazy. When I told my .Dr I thought she dropped, he suddenly looked at the floor and said "where?!? I don't see her!!" I swear he thinks he's a stand up comedian!! It's good when he's doing the checks so I can take my mind off of that!!

I was hoping i'd go past my due date, but with all of this pain, i'm glad i'm starting sooner than later!! Apparently i'm due some time in .April isntead of the beginning of .May. Which is cool but we're in .April!!!! Ahhhhh!!!

Ya I have noticed that ive dropped a lil bit and everyone else is commenting on it as well.. But its weird.. You hear that the pressure gets worse.. Mine actually doesnt feel as bad as it used to....Im going to the doctors in the morning (thursday) and im assuming he will check to see if im dialated! Im reallllly hoping he will considering it will be 38 weeks! And than at least I will know how much time I have left!!! Im panicking I wont have everything ready in time.. Everytime I get sumthing clean or put away ppl give me more gifts and stuff lol...

I havent been able to sleep lately I dont know why.. But I have to for my long adventurous walk to the drs tomorrow lol

Ahhhh!!! He said nothing!! Nothing!!!! I waiteed in the room for like 2 hrs for him to get back from delivering a baby.. And he just did the normal blood pressure, measurements and heartbeat thing and said see ya ina week if I dont see ya at the hospital b4 then!!!! Grrr!!

What?!?!?!?! He didn't check you?!?!?! Damnlt!!!! That's crazzzzyy....I know that practices are different in .Canada, but damn!!
They could've at least told you he was in a delivery and rescheduled you!!! no namers!!
Are you at least feeling any pressure down there??? Man I was hoping we'd have our babies around the same time!!! When I go in .Wednesday, i'm almost positive i'll be dialated to some extent. This pressure is intense!!! It makes me walk like a granny all hunched over!! I'm constantly grabbing my crotch cuz it hurts so gooood! Lol...I'm anxious to see her and want her to come as soon as possible. But I want her to be a healthy weight. I make 38 weeks tomorrow. But it might just be my 40th week. You know how they say....2weeks before or 2 weeks after!!!!!

I hope your not like me I stayed 75% effaced and 1-2 cm dilated for like a month before I went into labour...Lol it was so frusterating. I'm excited for you though, a baby soon! I can't wait tosee pictures and hear how the labour went.

Yeah I know I guess that he doesnt like to check I was just on the phone with my mom who says sumtimes they dont like to mess around down there cuz they dont wanna bring on labour or whatever.. Nobody thinks I will make it to my due date (april 29) I guess im just stuck not knowing if im gonna go over my due date or under! And it sucks!!! I know ive dropped tho.. I can tell by looking.. But it doesnt really feel any different!

Man!! Damn doctors!!! Your baby is already technically full term. That happens at 37 weeks, they just prefer you to go to 40 weeks. My .Dr showed no concern about starting my labor with checking me. I don't go back until wednesday because my car is in the shop. Hopefully, he tells me i'm at least a couple of centimeters dialated. If not, i'm seriously not rushing anything. The more time the better!!

I could tell the second my baby dropped!! Not only did my belly look lower, but the pressure in my pelvic/pubic area was unignorable!!

Hope something happens .Neeko!! I know you're prob. As ready as I am!!

More babies are coming! I am sooo excited! When you have your babies who else is left? I know ash is,tigrescenela(sp?)and. . .I don't know,there were so many fakes on here its hard to remember!
