Can Having Anaemia Stop Periods? Posted: 04-11-06 15:06pm
So I got my test results back today, they
didnt say much just that I am lacking iron
with anaemia, I have been given iron
sulphate tablets to take for 9days
(3daily). But does anyone know if this
would be the reason why my periods have
stopped?? I have looked up on it and all
I have found is that it can be caused by
heavy periods which doesnt really apply to
me as I am not having any at all! Lol!

I'm really not sure jolie. I hate it
when the docs don't give you enough info.
Can you call back and speak with the doc
again?

It wasnt even her that called me she got
her receptionist to do it!! She also told
me that my levels of testosterone were 3.6
where they are supposed to be 3, she said
because it was just a slight rise it
shouldnt be a problem??
The appt for me to have an ultra scan to
check my ovaries should be through soon so
hopefully this will give me the answers I
need.
