First Time With Viagra And Some Thoughts On That Posted: 04-13-06 16:46pm
Hello all. Hopefully you still remember
me as the "cycle man." (i've described my
problem too many times. If you are new or
forget, please refer to my other posts.)
thank you in advance for any help or
comments.
So about 2 weeks ago, the cycle went on
but altered a bit: the horny period only
lasted for a day, as opposed to the usual
4 or 5 days. Since i've been having some
stomach problem, I went to see a doc a few
times. Kinda mentioned my erection
problem and worries along the way and she
decided to look into it. I did a lab for
prolactin, which turned out perfectly
normal. I've done labs for testosterone,
thyroid and blood sugar previously and
they were all fine. Considering my
cycling behavior, she suggested the
possibility of some kind of depression or
anxiety (could be but unlikely to me).
But a mild dose of purepac (for anxiety)
didn't help at all. She gave some samples
of lexapro to try (which I think is a
stronger drug) and was going to refer me
to an endocrinologist in a month (this
looks right to me). Sadly, I don't have
insurance where I live now. So that's
been put off. She prescribed me three
tablets of 50 mg viagra.
I took one at 10:50 today. An hour later
(which is the best time according to
viagra), I tried masturbating. Only
difference was probably that it stayed
hard a lil easier, and softened slower if
I stopped my manual job. However, it
still wasn't 100% hard and didn't give me
the horny feeling that I would have in
horny days (which I think is what makes
for rock-hard erections). I ejaculated,
disappointed. It did seem to stay kinda
hard afterwards though, rather than go
soft immediately like it usually does.
One and a half hours later I decided to go
again during viagra's effective period. I
also switched to some new kind of porn I
haven't looked at in a while. It got
harder this time (still not rock hard like
horny days) but was still pretty numb.
However it was much better than not being
hard enough. I would say the second time
was satisfactory. Ejaculated and it again
stayed hard longer.
Overall, viagra definitely improves blood
flow to penis for the fact that my penis
stayed hard somewhat easier and longer.
But it absolutely didn't solve my problem.
I think the key is I don't have a good
libido and sensation today (which isn't
one of the horny days). So my conclusion
is my vascular system is fine, and maybe
so is the neurological system except I
can't explain the numbness. So it
corroborates my guess: something wrong
with the hormones. Low libido, and my bad
sensation in penis may be because of that.
So does anyone know if morning erections
are related to hormones? I don't get them
anymore. Please only answer if you know
for sure.
Thanks for reading it's kinda long. It
finally looks like an endocrinologist is
where I will go someday.

Didn't you say you were a virgin? I
thought that I had ed similar to what
you're describing when I was a virgin too.
But as soon as my fiancee and I started
having sex it completely went away.
