No Period In 6 Months?
Posted: 04-19-06 21:23pm

Help!!!!! I havent had a period since october 3, I was on bc for about 6 months and got off of it last april, I am now ( after 6 months with no period ) having headaches, nauseau, diahrea, heartburn, indigestion.... I dont have health insurance because I took a semester off of school....I am 19, and I have been having my period for 9 years, so I dont think it has anything to do with the amount of time I have been menstrating. Also, I have taken about 20 hpt and they all say negative.... Any suggestions,

No Period For 6 Months

I too experienced this, and it was a symptom of polycystic ovarian syndrome. It is is treatable with birth control to help regulate your periods. Consult a local clinic. There are many that help low income people.

No Period For 6 Months

Sounds like the same thing i've been going through! I was on birth control for years, up until about six months ago. I had a period shortly after stopping the bc, but have not had one since. I have heard that stopping your medication can cause a delay, but I have never heard of this long of one! I'm worried something may be wrong, but I have not had any of the symptoms you have had. I'm loving the break, but should I be worried?? If anyone knows of what might be going on please let me know! ~a
