Q: Discharge

For the last three months my 87 year old father has been having a milky-yellowish discharge from the rectum. He has undergone x-rays and medical exams. The doctors have been unable to find anything that has been causing this. Everything looks fine.

It has created an acid reaction of burning his skin to the point of being raw. It is extremely painful. He takes acid-free pills before a meal in hopes that it will help. He is so miserable and at his wits end. Our family would appreciate any suggestions or thoughts that might be of help. He is so miserable he is unable to sit up straight because of the pain.

Sorry...
I must admit, I did a double take and had to reread your question 2 or 3 times! I'm afraid i'm not too sure what to tell you either. Try posting on a different forum, there are lots more, and they may be more helpful there, this is the pregnancy forum. Goodluck!
