There's some one I know who has bipolar
and physically abuses her child (an
infant). The family doesn't do anything
about her -- she's been diagnosed, but the
fam is in denial. They don't do anything
about the child, either. This girl is so
crazy, she gets the police involved in
everything so ppl around her, if they
aren't related, find themselves getting
arrested when she's the cause of
everything. I don't want to see the child
suffer -- this person is incapable of
taking care of herself, let alone any
living thing around her -- she's vicious.
Do I just go on in life with blinders over
my eyes? Please help!

If you really believe she is hurting the
child, then you certainly ought to call
the police or child protective services.
I have bipolar disorder and I can tell you
from personal experience that someone in
the throes of a bp episode can be very
dangerous.
You simply must report this abuse. Dont
wait til its too late.
