I was 16 when I was raped and found out I
was pregnant. It's not that uncommon,
whether it be date rape, rape by stranger,
rape by father, brother, uncle, neighbor,
friend. Because normally while a man is
raping someone they normally dont' take
the time to use protection. Most of the
time rape isnt' a crime of passion and
they don't take the time to care about the
person they are hurting.
I am 24 now and for a while I worked at a
rape crisis center...It did finally take a
tole on my life and I had to quit. But
it's not that uncommon.
