I have had a decompression on my right should 3 years ago. But 2 years ago it turns out some of my internal stitches did not dissolve, my scar has been reopened and the stiches since removed, but I keep have a real problem with the scar continually itching, it drives me up the wall at times , can you advise me.

Another, problem has started to arise with my shoulder, it has started to lock, and I have to hold my shoulder in place move my arm alot, it then clicks back into place. I have also since found out I have more stiches that have not dissolved since my op, which again will have to reopen once more

the treatment I have had is for an accute tendonitus in my right shoulder.

Hi. There are loads of things you can do to help! Vitamin e oil is fantastic for scars - apply to the area morning and night and massage firmly. Aloe vera juice taken internally will also help as it promotes the renewal of tissues. Aromatherapy oils mixed in with your vitamin e oil, and used in the bath will also help - best to visit a qualified aromatherapist for face to face advice. Reflexology would be great for the internal scarring to release the tightness of the developing scar tissue.
Hope this helps!
