Using Birth Control Alone Posted: 04-24-06 13:35pm
Hi guys i'm new here :d
i have a few questions and wanted to see
what the general census is on this topic.
My np put me on birth control for cycle
irregularities (more like, absent cycle).
I've only had sex a handful of times, so
I am still very very new and learning
alot.
...So birth control is designed to be used
alone without pulling out, right? I am
just wondering. I know that no method is
100% except abstinence and although I
don't want a baby now, I would be prepared
to handle it if that is the case. My
boyfriend and I are both adults (i'm 19,
he's 29..) I guess we still have the
pregnancy paranoia. Note: there are no
std's in case anyone is wondering.
But there is just something that's hot to
me about letting go and enjoying it. :d
since we didn't have sex until after I
began birth control, we haven't used
anything (i.E., condoms). Unfortunately,
he doesn't cum because he is worried.
(inside of me or out for that matter)..
I would like to rely on my birth control
alone because I do use it correctly and my
np told me when I originally saw her that
I was probably not ovulating and would
have a difficult time getting pregnant
anyway (if I had been trying). I think
this is sufficient enough but he is
worried.. I really don't want to use a
condom so I was wondering if anyone had
anyone were advocates of any "alternative"
methods..I.E, vcf, spermicide. I would
like for him to get more pleasure out of
it and not worry. We have talked about it
some, but have not made any decisions
yet.
I'm all ears if anyone has any ideas! :)

Yes, ad their are all different types of
condoms, you can go to an adult store or
if you feel too enbarased, let him go and
surprise you.
The best to you both!

Lol...Thanks for your replies. I live in
a small town kind of place so there are no
adult stores around here. Ha. I just
wish he could let go and not use anything
but I don't to make him uncomfortable!
