Q: the M&m Dropped!!!

The m&m finally dropped. Technically I have four weeks left till my due date but no one seems to think that i'm going to make it that far. Two weeks ago when I went in for my u/s they thought my m&m weighed six pounds so if he's gained another half pound a week like they think that would put him at about seven pounds or so now. I'm going in to my doc on thursday and she said she will check to see how I am effacing. I'm so excited. I could have him as early as two weeks from now. I'll be so glad bcos he is sooooo heavy! Sometimes I swear it feels like he's gonna fall out (sorry not trying to be graphic). And the pressure is insane. If I walk for like two blocks I have to stop bcos the pressure gets worse and I start having vicious braxton hicks. I can't wait for this to be over and I am so excited to think that it will be over soon... who knows, I may be posting m&m pics soon...

I have four weeks till my due date too. But the last time I had an u/s was at 21 weeks so I have no idea how big he is right now. And the doc said he wont even check my cervix till im like almost 38 weeks! It sucks bc I dont know my progress at all. How can I get him to start checking things out?

I just want him to hold off for a few more days so I can get my desk cleared up at work and finish training my temporary replacement. He can come anytime he wants to after that...

I enjoyed my first pregnancy until I got sick. And this one hasn't been the most splended. But then again the jack of a husband hasn't helped anything...It just seems like forever since I got preggers. It's weird because my friend had her baby 8 weeks ago yesterday and it doesn't feel like it's been that long for me. When I look at her and her baby I think that wow time has flown, but when I look at my pregnancy I am like only 8 weeks has gone by since her baby was born. Is that understandable? It seems like time is at a standstill for me. Because I am not getting any bigger. Ack I still have 13 more weeks of this. Most of you only have a few weeks left. Wahhhh

Sunflower_pie81, doesn't thaat upset you when your hubby does not help out when you are pregnant, it is like they are the baby and they want all the attention all of the time, maybe we should put daipers on them and apacifier and a bottle(non-alchoholic) and what is really sad is a lot of them do not change after the baby is born aand then all you have is not a husband, just another child, it is funny yet sad in away to see that some of them do not get the attention as the new baby does, it is just the way it goes and teir are other men that do everything for that baby and his wife I have known some that ifthey could breat feed, they would, yep, men are strange creatures!
I hope yours will help after the baby is born!
The best to you and yours!

I think that I am going to start cracking the whip and make him start helping....One reason is because I cant' get the clothes out of the washer anymore and I just kinda keep washing the same socks over and over again because I can't get them out. Lol

he sometimes tries to help (keyword: sometimes) but in the end he makes a bigger mess than before. That is almost worse than him not helping. Yes he needs a bonnet and a bottle. Most men do.

Mine is helping out now. Woohoo! Finally! He helped me with the things in the babies room. He's been trying to help keep things clean but what he doesn't understand is that he makes a lot of the mess in the first place. I bought paper plates, cups, etc so I wouldn't have to wash dishes. But guess who's still using the dishes...Not me. I cleaned all the area rugs/runners in the house so guess who consistently spills things on them...Not me. And guess who always manages to undress downstairs? Again, not me. Somehow I can always manage to get my fat pregnant butt up the stairs to change clothes when I get off of work but ablebodied hubby just can't manage that one...
