How Old Do You Think That I Should Get Pregnant? Posted: 01-07-04 16:06pm
Hello,
im new on this site, so pardon my story..
And my babbling.. I just want to spill
the feelings out.
Im 17 years old and im a senior in high
school. I do have few friends that
already a mom or is currently pregnant. I
become jealous when I hear hteir news and
it make me upset. I love my boyfriend
very much but then I know that my
boyfriend want to finish school.. (hes a
junior but hes 17 also and will be 18 in
june). After I get out of school I have
couple of month of breaks "summer break"
as what you would call it. Therefore, I
would be going to college for 4 years to
get registered nurse (assoicate degree or
master degree). I do not have patience
but he also mention that he would want to
have money to afford the baby supplies and
stuff like that. I assumed that he dont
want me to have welfare system, and I do
really understand that. Im engaged with
him and I really really love him and I do
respect his high expectations in his life.
We are planning to get marry in couple of
year after he graduate from school. Well
how old do you think I should get
pregnant?
Im weird though because the first time I
lost my virginity.. I was stupid enough
that I got urinary tract infection. I
would get them by sex and not going to the
bathroom afterward. Well I told my mom
that I assume to have uti and she didnt
really want to be mad or anything but then
she took me to the emergency room to get
me check up with pregnancy test.. Well it
was negative and stuff like that. My mom
want me to be on the pill and I denied
that I dont want to be on the pill, but
then I consider again and I went on the
patch for like 3 days. My boyfriend and I
had unprotected sex and he got freaked out
and I got really weird later in that
month. Well I told one of my teacher that
I really really trust and the test came
negative. Then again in june... Had to
take another test.. It came negative..
And recently in september.. It came
negative. Every time I took the test.. I
got really upset and frustrated but im
glad that im not but inside of my heart, I
really really do want to be. I have to be
patience for a while. I do have
patience... Sometimes I dont' lol
its really really annoying and I have
been depressed because of my jealousy
around my boyfriend cousin who is also 17
and is a mom (she never take care of her
baby, and I would just wish to snatch the
baby away from her and take care of that
baby but her fiancee is really nice and
sweet.) life is hard and its depressing
lol ..

Well girl, to me it just sounds like there
might be something missing in your life.
But trust me, unless you are ready for it,
having a child is not going to satisfy you
until you are truely ready. I am so
scared for what is to come. Yeah, you see
other people and hear their stories, but
its starting to become a reality to me. I
mean, you gain a lot im sure with joy and
everything, but you also lose a lot. I
think you would be better off by waiting
until you are through school. Just
waiting will make you appreciate the child
even more. Ill pray for ya

My best friend has a 2 year old and she
is 17 I also have 3 friend who are under
18 with a child each, in face, one of them
has to children. I have had the same
feelings you have had, and the only
decision I have come to for myself is that
I am not sure that I want a kid yet, i'm
not saying that I wouldn't be happy if I
did get preggy, I just mean that I am not
trying to get preggy.
You should think long and hard about your
decision and do what is right for
yourself, just make sure that you are
prepared to have a baby before you get
pregnant. But like I said, the most most
most most importnant thing is to do what
is right for you and your child (if you
should concieve) all the girls are very
helpful on this site. I',m sure that
will have some great ideas. If you needa

Hey,
i am the same way as u wanting a baby.
But I dont have a bf and all that like u.
When I have sex than my peiord os late I
am happy but scared as u. My old friend
had a baby and I was sooo jeolous of her.
She had a perfect kid and she didnt care
she was a good mother but at nite every
nite she would go out partying and caca I
would get mad at her like you have a a kid
you have to be mature. I know I would be
a great mother. My mom and nana both
think so too. I am 16. I know I am young
to have a baby but I just get this love
and it makes a smile on my face when I see
babies. Like when I would see sonja and
her baby mya I wouldbe so happy and play
with her (she is 16 months old) I am so
upset I wont be able to see her again cuz
me and sonja got in a big fight. I missed
my peiord I am 4 days late. I am just
going to wait for another week or so than
take a test. I am on birth control but I
forogt to take one I went to bed earluy
and forgot and I didnt think garry cummed
in me cuz it lasted only like 5 mins or
shorter. And he told me he did cum in me
last sat.
Anyways I better go ttyls

Well I do agree with you guys, I should
wait but im waitin for more advices lol
um.. I was thinking about something
though... My aunt on my boyfriend side of
the family said that I would be a great
mom and she really really want me to
concieve (to be pregnant and have the
baby). My boyfriend already know my
craveness and does know about his aunt
saying those kind of things. It really
bothers me but I do know that one of these
things I would eventually get pregnant
because im on the pill and my boyfriend
finally trust me and stopped pulling out.
Although he does make sure that I take the
pill lol

Time will tell with whatever happens...If
its meant to happen soon, trust me babe,
it will...As for me it was an *untimely
blessing* (well, I got awhile to go, but I
am sure it will be lol)
i dont kno ya but im sure you would b a
great mah. I am a baby myself, I dont
even do my own laundry, so I dont kno how
im guna deal...
But to get to the point, I did suggest you
finishing your schooling, probably because
thats what I wanted to do, and am still
going to do my best at it, but if you
think you are ready, that is totally you
girl.
