Getting to Know a Girl I Work With...please Help! Posted: 04-26-06 08:29am
Hi, i'm a 32 year old guy who pretty much
has no game when initially approaching a
gwoman. I have very little luck. I
am very shy & do suffer from social
anxiety. Once I get past that initial
approach & things go smoothly, I have
plenty of game. Here's my question:
there's a girl who works in the same
office as me, but not in the same
department so I only see her once in a
while walking around. She's very
attractive, seems friendly & is always
smiling. I don't have a problem
introducing myself to her, but after that
I always freeze & become dull &
uninteresting. I would like to get to
know this girl & eventually ask her
out. I noticed that most women tell
men what they are looking for in a man
when men ask them advice other than
telling men how women respond to certain
things men say or do. Can you please
give me some good advice on how to
approach this girl so i'm not just another
face at work? I want to make an
impression but not come on too strong so
we can continue to progress to a lunch
date & possibly more. Please help,
I have never been good at this.
Thanks in advance

Hi, I think that the next time you see
her, you should bring up the local
baseball game, see if she is interested in
sports or something. Like "you see the
game last night" etc.. Then start a
little conversation like that, try not to
talk too long so you keep her interested
in you and maybe she will look for you
more often.
