Mild menstral like cramps are normal
during the first part of pregnancy due to
growing and stretching of the uterus and
surrounding muscles. Tell her to bring
any concerns she has to her doctor.
Every pregnancy is different.
Good luck!

Well everyone, the pains you are most
likely feeling are round ligament pains.
They are the muscles that support your
uterus. Get use to them now because you
will have them throughout your whole
pregnancy. But don't worry, the pain is
harmless stretching.

If it doesn't go away within a couple of
weeks, it wouldn't hurt to consult your
physician, my sister had these same pains,
only in one side, and the had a tubal
pregnancy, I don't want to worry you, it's
probably okay, but just to be safe I would
check on it.
