Bikini Waxing Safe In Pregnancy? Posted: 04-28-06 09:08am
Does anybody know if it's safe or not to
get a bikini wax during a pregnancy? Or
could the pain cause harm to the baby?
All replies are very much appreciated!

I don't think it would harm the baby but
it might cause your blood pressure to go
up a bit.I don't know if thats
harmful. Also you might want to check out
what chemicals are used for it and ask
your doctor

i'm an .Estitician and used to work at an
.Aveda salon. Our largest customer for
the bikini wax was pregnant women!! When
I was pregnant, there was noooo way I was
waxing my bikini!! The only reason why we
wouldn't recommend it is because your
nerve endings, while pregnant, are
extreemely sensitive. The pain is
immense!! There is a spray that you can
buy by ".Gili' that numbs the area. You
can get this at an .Sallys .Beauty
.Supply! It doesn't work miracles, but it
helps!!

Hey sarah, did you ever see anything really
gross?Just wondering, lol. And do you have
to do anything before you go get
waxed, like trim or anything. I have never
been so I don't know if I should let it
grow out (eeew!) or what.

bikini waxing safe while pregnant? Yes! Posted: 05-23-08 19:43pm
I asked my doctor and she said it was so I
did but I was always getting a brazillian
wax before pregnancy so for me it was a
little more painful but as soon as its
finished the pain was gone and i'm glad I
continued with it while I'm pregnant
because I don't like hair down there seems
to grow back quicker since i've been
pregnant too I go every 5 to 6 weeks
