Tmi I Know....but Cant Resist
Posted: 01-08-04 04:52am

Hi ladies..

Happy new year!

I have not posted for a while though I have been a silent reader of others.I have been ttc since 8 months. My cycle is pretty regular with 28-29 days( mostly 28 days ).
I had my last af on dec 9.I had my usual ovulation cramps on cd10 onwards.I was due on 5 jan. I am experiencing severe pains since jan 1.Thought af would visit me before schedule...But so far no...On jan 7(yesterday) I woke up with severe pain in the morning , hardly able to stand up.I have severe cold and my lower abdomen was so hurting when ever I sneezed. It was unbearable...It was there till afternoon but disappeared in the evening.Again it started late last night but milder(off and on). This morning(8th jan) still no sign of af but cramps. I had a thick white discharge this morning...(is this ever possible?)

what does this indicate? What is happening to me. Is af on its way or should I wait for few more days for testing.
I have no other symptoms but for cramps. To add on top of everything...We were not at all serious this month.Any comments.........?

Please send in your suggestions...
Thanks in advance.

Love

Hi latoya,

these are for your understanding:
af- period
cd- cycle day
ttc- trying to conceive.

My period was due on 5th of this month, but has'nt come yet. I am suffering from severe cramps in the lower abdomen(sometimes right and sometimes left). I havent tested yet. I thought I will wait till the weekend.
(the longer, the better). On 7th morning, I had thick white discharge.I just wanted to know if this is ever possible? Do you think I am pregnant?
I have no other symptoms.

What are you comments?

Lots of love

Yes, you could be pregnant, but it may be an ectopic pregnancy, especially if the cramping is as bad as you said. If you are still having this severe cramping you need to see the Dr.

You may also have miscarried or had an infection, either way yuou nstill need to see the dr & get checked. Even if it was ectopic & "expelled" itself you need to have a dr make sure that youy don't need a d&c or anything & that all is ok for yuou to keep ttc.

Good luck & if you're not pregnant, the best way to fall is to relax, have a night away or out & a few drinks, just enough to relax you & you might get a nice surprise, but the main thing is to relax & enjoy each other, have some fun don't make it a job to have tome out & a few drinks so that you relax in order to fall. Ok!!??

Yes, it could be an ectopic pregnancy, or maybe even ovarian cysts. I would wait maybe 3 more days and take a hpt. If it is negative, book yourself in to see the doctor. Tell him/her your concerns and they will probably order an hcg quant. To determine if you are pregnant. The best advice is the leave it to the doctor. It probably isn't serious, but don't take that chance. Ectopic pregnancy could affect future fertility if not treated correctly. If the tests are negative, and you still have cramping, they may order an ultrasound to see what's going on in there... Confused Good luck & let us know!!!
