Last Monday the News Came! Posted: 05-01-06 09:57am
On the 23 of april I found out I was
pregnant! I'm ten almost eleven wks. Now
the question is when should I have my
first ultrasound? My husband can't wait
to see the baby! I'm so excited, cause I
thought something was seriously wrong with
me, since all my irregularities! However,
god has answered my prayers.

Congrats! Do you get to decide when you
have an ultrasound? I guess I didn't
understand your question. I don't have
any say in when I get mine. I'll only be
getting one and it's going to be at 18
weeks (that's the earliest they'll tell
the sex here). They'll do more if they
think there's a problem or a reason for
one but my doctors generally only do one.
It's on may 31st and I can't wait!
Congrats again and good luck!

Well, i've been sick for a while. But I
have had extremely irregular periods. And
any month I miss I have to take a hpt in
march I missed and did the test and it was
negative. When I missed again in april
and I was begining to feel food sick, I
decided it was time to take another one.
This time it was postive! So the next day
I went to the doctors to get it confirmed.
And it was definately positive! So
that's why I didn't know sooner, the first
test came back negative! As to the
ultrasound I was told by 11wks I am to
have a first ultrasound on record. But
i'm right now considered "high risk"
because before I was pregnant I was 145lbs
and since then I am 131lbs. So they said
that will make me have more ultrasounds.
My first one won't be till i'm 13wks. The
who new patient to this ob-gyn!
Sry this was so long! I have a final to
finish so see you all later!
