I'm Young And Having a Child Posted: 01-08-04 10:07am
Hi, how is everyone? Great. I'll tell
you a little about myself and my
situation. My name is fermin, i'm
hispanic, not bad-looking and I love to
make people smile. I am 18, will be 19
in aug.2. Here's the deal--
--about a year anda half ago I met this
wonderful girl [i was 17], she turned 24
today. We talked for a while and then we
got together and dated, then became
steady. She is by-far the coolest person
in my life. She's great in getting along
with people, her parents love me, along
with the rest of the family. She is so
beautiful and she loves me in a fully
mutual way. It is almost too good to be
true. Not too long ago she told me,
after many many doctor visits, that she
was diagnosed with some ovary disorder,
she may not be able to have children
within a couple of years. In her family,
having a child and giving her parents
little grandbabies is traditional! I'll
tell you, I love her to death, she has
great vaules and morals. She would be
great as a mother, as for me, I still want
to get through college; clubbing and
smokin' the hippy-lettuce and riding in a
g-ride does not appeal to me, never really
has, that's just the way I was raised. I
wanted to give her a baby. So yesterday
we tried. I cried during sex -- I dont
know if thats such a good thing but...It's
such a big thing having a child this
young.
I guess I just really want some advice,
motivation or to hear someone elses'
experiences. I would greatly appreciate
any comments.
Not to mention I would want to get married
to her in a few years. Not now though.

Theres not too many guys like u out
there...Trust me, ur girlfriend is truly
blessed to have someone like u beside
her...I am seventeen years old nd im
sixteen weeks pregnant, the father is not
around though...It hasnt been too
difficult for me, and im all alone, and
yall have each other...If ur not sure ur
ready to have a baby then dont...But if u
feel its time....Its all up to you, you
sound like a really sweet guy and I hope
that everything works out for you...Babies
are big responsibilities, but u seem like

Wow u seem like a very rare guy!! Not to
many of u guys around! Im 17 and 23 weeks
preggy my boyfriend is still around thank
the lord! It seems like you and your
girlfriend have a great relationship...You
crying during sex isnt necessarily a bad
thing sex is very intimate and it brings
up a lot of emotions ppl never knew they
had. If ur not sure u want a kid yet I
would wait.....But I think you and ur
girlfriend will be great parents when u
decide to have kids hang in there!!!

keep your head up and keep stupid things
out of your head. I love christina and
