Low Platelet Count On My Last 5 Cbc's? Posted: 05-01-06 11:17am


I have had low platelet counts on my last 5 cbc's. I am called back to hte lab to re-test using a citrate tube. Doctor says it is nothing to worry about. It never happened to me before. What is it? If I had a positive ana result (not too high ratio, but nonetheless, positive) along with these supposed false low platelet counts, could this be the beginning of lupus?
