When I started smoking, I promised myself
that when I had kids, I would stop... And
I did, the day I found out I was pregnant.
It was hard, but I know I would feel like
a terrible mother if I kept it up. I
think today, with all the new technologies
we have, and the knowledge of what smoke
can do to an unborn baby, I would feel so
selfish if I smoked while I was pregnant.
I know its hard to quit, but I did it, and
so have thousands of other women. I know
i'll probably pick it up again after the
baby's born, but I won't do it around him
or her, and I know my bf won't either.
