Can I Be Pregnet
Hi I had a Tubal Ligation Three years ago after my third child. I have had all my periouds regualarly,About three weeks ago I had this awfull pain and pressure that started from under my brests, and went to the lower pary of abdomen,It was a scary feeling and almost dropped me to my knees. It lasted about a second and that was it. I went to bed and the next morning I had spotted. I had finished my period a week and a day before all this so I didnt think anything. Later that day I noticed more blood, I bleed lightly for 4 days so I called my doc she told me to take a pregnacy test and if it was positive to go to the hospital. It came out negitive.I have been feeling like I need to throw up My brests have been leaking and I am waking up sweating almost every night.I have had bad headaches and have been sleeping alot. I have a belly like Im 5 or so months pregnet and pressure like something is pushing in there like it did with my kids when I was pregnet, I am loosing weight but I feel pregnet, I have all the simptoms. I went to see my doctor and she took a pregnecy test and it came back negitive, could I still be pregnet and not be showing on a test?

hello, i think your doctor should have done more tests to rule things out, did your doctor do a blood test for pregnancy? you should go back to your doctor and get an ultrasound and a pelvic exam and additional blood tests.
you may be pregnant, but if ypu are it could be ectopic due to the tubal you had, but let's hope it implanted in the uterus! sometimes if you are real early in the pregnancy the urine tests won't resd it right it depands on how much hcg hormone there is yopu may not have a high amount of it yet and that can also say early, early pregnancy. if you still feel like this and your tummy is still bloated you need to just go to the doctors.

hello, I had my tubal ligation back in april of 2002 and also regret it... been married for 6 years and have no children together. I have been having all the symptoms of pregnancy, bloating, breasts hurt and ache, nipples tender and sore, sick to my stomach, vomiting, tiredness, pelvic pain and pressure, cravings and so on...took 2 urine tests, and also a blood test but all came back negative. went to docters and had an internal exam and he said that my cervix is fine but my uterus is enlarged. going for an ultra-sound on monday. hope its a baby and nothing else.. kinda worried. does anyone else know what this could mean?

well if you are super early in your pregnancy(if you happen to be) sometimes home tests will read negative but usually the blood test would pick it up but it didn't, so since your uterus is enlarged it may be pregnancy and it might have implanted in the uterus! are you still having your menstrual cycle? and if so is it normal or irregular?

I had a tubal in 05 after a c-section. Now after 4 and a half yrs later, my breast are sore and my periods are irregular. I've always had regular periods until now. The first one this month was a week early and normal, now the second one is a week after the usual time and normal. I feel tired, moody and tense alot more than usual, can I be pregnant? Could this be normal for a woman who is 32, with 2 children and 3 stepchildren?

Tubal ligation odds of effectiveness are slimmer than you think
The truth to the matter is 143 of us out of every 10,000 will get pregnant again even though we had this supposed irreversible procedure. They do not tell us that or even that as time passes the odds go up. Ladies if your not sure see a doctor chances are you wasted money and added pain and scar tissue just to find out your one of 143 out of 10,000 that defy doctors and their science. If you were still meant to bare children, life will find away. God bless you all as we all go on praying and wondering where do I fall into the numbers?

Tubal Reversal
I am almost 35. I had a Laparoscopic Tubal Sterilization in 2005(not sure what the difference is between that and a tubal ligation), because after 4 children and husband no longer in the picture, I thought I was finished with having kids. I have since met someone and he really wants me to bear his first child. I have been looking into tubal reversal surgeries, and am excited to know that I could get pregnant without the reversal surgery. If the chances are 143 out of 10,000...there may be hope yet.
Any other success stories of pregnancy after tubal without reversal surgery?
