Q: Question About Discharge

I'm 31 weeks along in pregnancy and the past couple days I been having some discharge off and on, its like a lot and its milky with a yellowy color. Sorry if tmi!! I also been having sharp stingy sort of pains very very low in my abdomen and the backs of my upper legs have been acheing so bad. I dont know if all of this is realated or what. I just recently ahd an appointment and everything was fine then but this discharge and pains just started a couple days ago. My mom tells me to go lay down for a while and it sort of helps but it comes back.
Anyone else having anything like that. Should I be worried or is it just a pregnancy thing.

It sounds normal, as long as it doesn't smell foul. It's called leukhoria (not sure on spelling). You might want to start wearing panty-liners because it can "ruin" your underwear.

Eta: do not douche. And if you notice a burning or itching it could be a yeast infection that you'd have to talk to your ob about treating.

Thanks sandra......

Ash, if you are just having discharge now, you are a lucky duck. I have had discharge this whole time and it's horrid. It has been just clear and stretchy. Somedays is better than others....But so far it's been the worst part of my pregnancy. I don't remember it being like this with my first preganacy.

Just wear a panti liner, and as long as it doesn't smell foul you should be fine.

The big "d" blows. I swear I have to wash and change like 3 times a day because I hate that feeling.

Seriously!! I'd been having discharge since I was 11 weeks!! Like I peed my pants when I stood up!! Grrr!!! It happened a lot as soon as I got up from peeing!!!

Like it knew exacly when it was a bad time for it to come out!!!

Anyways, if it doesn't smell, you should be fine. I know mine was just clear/yellowish...The day I went into labor it was coming out in excess!!! Like man, did someone blow their nose in my tissue?!?!? Yuck, I know....But true.....

Usually happens to me right after i've gotten dressed after taking a shower. I'll put clean undies on and then sneeze.

Don't worry about it too much. Just take it easy...You're almost eight months pregnant, and you're fourteen, so just take it easy for the next few weeks! Enjoy the pregnancy, and don't stress.
