I've Lost My Appetite And Gained Constant Nausea...help. Posted: 05-03-06 12:30pm
I am an italian girl. I love my food.
But for the past two weeks I haven't been
able to find anything appetizing(sp?).
I'm constantly opneing the fridge, and
closing it, with no food in hand. I don't
know the last time I actually had a meal.
Oh wait, I toast the other day, I
literally had to force it down, and then
it came right back up. I always feel like
I am going to vomit. Sometimes i'll be
walking down the street and I just start
gagging. I know i'm not pregnant. But
this is getting completley unbearable. Im
wondering if it could be from depression,
or stress. But I have been both of those
for years, so why would this just show up
now. I am starting to get a little
worried. If anyone has any thoughts
please get back to me. I'm hungry.

Hey
i suffered from similar symptoms as you.
I would find that even the thought of food
made me feel 10 time worse.
Do you get weak, shaky or dizzy as well?
If you do then you might suffer from low
blood sugar. I was recommened to eat 6
small meals a day now I feel loads better
(took me a few days to get into eating
again though) I still feel sick a lot but
nowhere near as bad as before and iv
stopped gagging as well.
You should try eating a few grapes, or a
spoonful of plain yoghurt, or a few small
mouthfuls of fruit juice, then wait maby
half a hour or so and if you feel better
have some more. Nothing to big or heavy,
and see if that helps. I know that its
really really hard to eat when you feel so
sick but I find that it helps me.
