My Husband Doesn't Have a Desire For Sex Posted: 05-03-06 12:43pm
My husband used to do a lot of crystal
meth. He has been clean for two years.
But he says, he just doesn't have the
desire for sex any more. I am the
opposite, I love sex. I would love to
have sex every night with him, if I could.
At first I was hurt and angry. We would
fight a lot about it. I felt rejected.
After talking about it many times, I now
understand and I am used to it. We have
made love two times in the past year.
Trust me I have tried everything in the
book to get him aroused, he's just say's
that he's really sorry, he just doesn't
want to make love. He tells me it's not
me. We are very much in love and have
been together for ten years. Our
relationship is very good in all other
departments, except the bedroom. He can
get an erection, the desire is just gone.
We have heard that meth kills your sex
drive, and that it can take up to ten yrs
for it to come back. Is this true? Does
anyone know?

Have you tried to talk to your dr about
this as I aam sssure it bothers him too.
I have heard that meth does this along
with other drugs but it is not your fault,
at least talk to your hubby about
cuddling, that helps some. Be thankful
he woke up in time and he is off that
garbage and is not worse off than he is.
The best to you both!
