Hello, i'm 26 and became sexually active
recently. I'm missed my period and am
worried I am pregnant. My fiance and I
had unprotected intercourse and our
contraceptive method is by withdrawal.
I used to have very irregular periods
where I could have 2 times a month. My
last period was 4-8 july. We had sex on
11, 12, 19, 25, 27 and 2 aug. My next
period supposedly on 7 aug (30 days) but
it didn't come and i'm extremely worried.
I did have some brown spotting on 31 - 2
aug but it stopped.
I did a home pregnancy test on 11 aug
(clear blue) and it came out as negative.
I've also been monitoring my body for any
changes and I don't feel i'm pregnant.
But i've to be sure and confirm. For
having a baby is not in our plan now.
Can anybody enlighten me about ... What
is going on with my body? How can I
missed my period? How accurate and
reliable the home pregnancy kit. If I
get myself tested by the doctor, what kind
of method they're using to confirm if i'm
pregnant or not. What is the best
contraceptive method to use. We used
condoms before but it always torn in the
process. Please help.

It's bad enough that ur periods are always
irregular, becoz that's extremely
difficult to tell if u are pregnant or
not.
Home pregnancy tests are pretty accurate
more than 90% and some even 99%. If u go
to a christian pregnancy clinic, and get
tested, they only give u the home pregancy
test, so it's pretty much the same.
I suggest u to buy some more preg tests
and test it every 3 days from now for
about 2 weeks if ur period stilll hasnt
came.
Birth control pills are very effective,
though they are not for everybody but that
depends on the person, the patch is for
those who is forgetful like me! The shot
is for women who really dont want to
bother with the pills and patch, and not
plan on getting pregnant for at least a
few years. So depends what u want, and
then choose one that fits u most
spotting is very normal when we are
stressed out about these things. So
relax!
If u really want to be sure,go to a doc,
they will be able to give u pretty
accurate answers. Though some preg test
cant tell if a women is preg up to her 6th
week...

Hi, I did my second test today and still
it shows negative. I think i'm clear as I
do not have any sign of being pregnant.
If i'm, i'll be about 5 wks pregnant now.
By now, I supposedly to have all possible
signs. Pheww, what a relieve.
am appreciate for the input. Make me feel
more assured and relieve. Thank you!
