My husband had a vascectomy about 8 years ago. I am 2months late and have a lot of pregnancy symptoms. Is this a possibility? If so how much so.

I don't know nuch about vasectomy's but I wouldn't have thought it very likely 8 years after his surgery. I may be wrong though.

I think it's extremely unlikely that you've conceived after eight years without problems with your husband's sterility. However, I know that, on rare occasions, the man's vas deferens can grow back together.

I'll be totally honest - vasectomies rarely fail, and I think it would be borderline impossible for your husband's to fail after so many years. Is it possible that you have developed some sort of reproductive ailment? In the case of ovarian cysts or pcos, you may feel pregnancy symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, irregular periods, and abdominal pain. Do take a test, and no matter what the result is, it would be good to seek a doctor's opinion to rule out any serious problems that are not related to pregnancy.

Thank You For All the Posts
I have gotten a test. I guess it will be determined tomorrow. I just didn't want to waste the money if I wasn't . I guess it is worth the peace of mind. If not I am going to the doc. I have had pcos for years, even before my other 2 children, however I have never experceinced as many symptoms as this. I have experienced miss of period, depression, and pain. I never experienced as many as this though.
Thanks again.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

Frankly, you were less than forthcoming in your op, and you still haven't stated your age, which is probably another factor.

Good luck to you.
