How Many Pills a Day Are Safe? Posted: 05-06-06 18:37pm
Hi, I am a 23 year old male and I have a
question about how many pills is safe to
take a day. Daily, I take an
multi-vitamin pill, a vitamin e, and a
vitamin c. Sometimes I take an extra
vitamin e and vitamin c pill a day, and
sometimes an extra multi-vitamin pill a
day. So, usually I take 3 pills a day
(supplements), sometimes I take 5 pills a
day, and rarely, I take 6 a day. Is it
safe to take so many pills, or is that not
supposed to be a problem? Is there a
certain amount pills one should not take
daily or something? Also, i'm not asking
about the amount of vitamins itself, i'm
asking only about the number of pills.
Any feedback would be appreciated, thank
you!

5 pills a day is a very miniscule amount.
What you need to keep track of is what is
in the pills and weather or not you are
taking too much of any ingredient.
A good way to find that out is to google
each ingredient, and find out what the
toxicity levels are, and what the oda
is.
