Q: Af For 9 Days...

I just had my af for 9 days... What is up with that? Usually i'm 3 days and then that's it, but this sucked! Light at first, pinkish and about a week earlier than I was supposed to have it. Then it got heavier with more cramps. Could it be cuz I didn't have anything but a day of spotting last month? The buildup maybe? I hope this isn't gonna be a regular accurance now. I thought periods were supposed to be regular on birth control...

How long have you been on birth control? That's happened to me before, too. I'd start spotting about a week before I was supposed to get my period, then get my period in full swing. It hasn't been a regular occurrence in my experience. When I called my doctor about it, she told me that it's normal, especially if your body is still getting used to it.

I've been on b/c since mid 2004 I think. If I am remembering correctly.

Hmm. If your period's like that next month, you could call your doc and see why they think that's happening. Maybe your dosage needs to be changed or you should switch to a different brand.

Yeah I was just talking to my bf about going to see my doctor cuz I have never had my af last that long. But it seems to be over now, so if it gets like that next month I will definitely make an appointment. Thanks for ur opinions ladies :)
